Cookies
What this site stores in your browser, and how to remove it.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small piece of data stored in your browser. Browser storage (such as localStorage) works similarly: a named value kept on your device that survives when you close the page. This site uses browser storage, not classic cookies, for the one item below.
Types of cookies
Cookies and storage items are often grouped as essential (needed for the site to work) or analytics (used to measure behaviour). No analytics cookies or storage items are used on this site. There is no measurement code, advertising pixel or third-party tag of any kind.
What this site actually stores
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
cloudsignal_consent_v1 | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected the consent banner, so it does not show again | Until you clear browser data or remove it | This site (cloudsignal.click), stored in your browser’s localStorage |
That is the only item this site places in your browser. No session cookies, no preference cookies beyond the consent choice, and no third-party cookies of any kind.
How to manage or disable it
Because the item lives in your own browser, you control it directly:
- Clear site data in your browser settings to remove it.
- Open the developer tools, find localStorage for cloudsignal.click, and delete the
cloudsignal_consent_v1key. - Use your browser’s private or incognito mode, where storage is cleared when you close the window.
What happens if you disable it
If the consent choice cannot be stored (for example, in a private window where storage is blocked), the consent banner may appear again on your next visit. Rejecting consent does not block any site functionality — the site works the same either way, because nothing else depends on it.
Withdrawing consent
You can change your mind at any time by clearing the stored item as described above; the banner will show again on your next visit. See the privacy policy for how your personal data is handled.
